Enjoying the Season at The Hearth and Soul Link Party

The Hearth and Soul Link Party where we welcome posts about anything that feeds your soul

Hello and welcome to the Hearth and Soul Link Party. Are you enjoying the season? I certainly am. We have had some glorious sunny days here, and the colour is probably the best I’ve seen since I first came to England many years ago. It can’t beat Ontario or New England, but it sure is pretty!

You can share posts about anything that feeds your soul at The Hearth and Soul Link Party – including family, home, recipes, decorating, crafts, DIY, travel, organisation, book reviews, the arts, self improvement and more.

I have one more trip before Christmas – to the beautiful California Bay Area – but I’m already focusing on holiday preparations. We’ve got some decorating going on at the moment as well. The living room is finished, and we are about to start work on the dining room and kitchen. We are also updating the landscaping in our garden so it’s going to be an absolute hive of activity! I’ll share some photos when I can.

It may seem early but with Stir Up Sunday fast approaching, I decided to share our family’s traditional recipe for Christmas Pudding.

Old Fashioned Victorian Christmas Pudding - a traditional family recipe

Christmas Pudding is a big part of the celebrations here in the UK, and this Christmas Pudding recipe is about as authentic as you can get!
