Fall Crafts & DIY from The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party

The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party
Hello and welcome to the Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party! This week I’m featuring some of the fall crafts shared with last week’s party along with a delicious recipe. I’ll share those in just a bit.

How are things in your corner of the world? It’s feeling distinctly autumnal here, although the weather forecasters are promising us a heat wave with temperatures in the high 20’s (that’s low 80’s Fahrenheit!) from tomorrow until Friday. That’s very unusual for England this time of year!

As always, there’s lots going on here. Recently on the blog I shared a post about one of my favourite Irish towns.

Things to See and Do in Kinsale, Ireland

Kinsale is a gorgeous little seaside town not far from Cork in Southern Ireland. Join me on a virtual visit and watch this space for more posts about my travels in Ireland.

I’ve also shared one of my favourite Meatless Monday recipes.

Pasta alla Norma with a Twist

Pasta alla Norma with a Twist is a wholesome pasta dish with a rich tomato sauce chock full of veggies. It’s perfect for cosy family suppers or easy entertaining.

  3. Hi April–I missed last week because I forgot it was Monday also being Labor Day Holiday here and we were busy taking my mom out for her birthday. 🙂

I was delighted to see your post on Kinsale, Ireland, April, although I haven’t yet read it. That’s because we have a Kinsale, Virginia, which is a charming riverside town a short distance from us. As soon as I saw your post title, I knew “our” Kinsale had to be named after the Kinsale in Ireland and it is! How about that? Thank you so much for giving me that knowledge. I can’t wait to read your post and will look at our local Kinsale in a whole new way now.

This week I’m linking up my new recipe for Blueberry Cobbler; the Best GF Flatbread, Focaccia, Pita, and Naan recipe roundup; and my Sweet Potato Chocolate Chip Mug Pudding. All great choices!

Now off to read your post and check out more of the highlights from last week and this week’s links.

    Have a great week!

    • Hi Shirley, It’s lovely to ‘see’ you, and thank you for sharing such lovely recipes. I’m so interested to learn about Kinsale, Virginia! Hope you have a great week too 🙂

  4. Thanks so much for including my Fairy Garden in you features! I can’t wait to explore what everyone’s posting this week. 🙂

  5. April, I’m so behind! I hope to be able to read your post about Kinsale today — it’s on my list! I also see some links here I want to get to before the day is done. Thanks so much for hosting.

  6. April, my post today is quite a departure from my usual posts. Thank you for hosting.

  7. Thank you, April, for hosting! Have a lovely day!
