There’s been a lot going on in the last few weeks – so much so that I almost missed my 15th Blogging Anniversary! I started blogging in 2002 as The 21st Century Housewife. The website and I have gone through a lot of changes since then, and I’m excited for new things to come later this year and early next year. (I’ll be sharing more about that soon!) In the meantime, thank you all so much for your support!

  6. Hi April,
The party looks great today with lots of interesting post to check out. Do you’al have trick or treat in London like we do here? I was just wondering I don’t think I have seen much celebration from England. Hope you are having a great week and thanks so much for the party!

    • Hi Miz Helen,
When I first came to London, Halloween was nearly non-exisitant but now it’s slowly, slowly catching on. Every year we have more trick or treaters. It’s taken a long time though (almost 30 years). A lot of people are afraid of it which doesn’t help. We do everything we can to encourage it, and hopefully one day it will be as much fun as it is in North America 🙂

  7. April thank you SO very much for the wonderful feature of Storybook Cottages fall garden. May you have a lovely and inspiring week!

  15. Definitely going to read your post about losing weight and keeping it off.
Getting the weight off is hard enough, but keeping it off feels like a life sentence — which I suppose it really is . . .

    • It’s definitely a lifestyle change, Michele, but it’s amazing how your tastes adjust. (I never thought I’d crave avocado toast!!) And you can definitely still have treats 🙂 I hope you find the article encouraging 🙂
