The Hearth and Soul Hop 23 June Edition

The Hearth and Soul Blog Hop
A warm welcome to The Hearth and Soul Hop, the blog hop for recipes using healthy ingredients, family and comfort food recipes, articles about healthy living, real, local and sustainable food, foraging, herbal remedies, organics and gardening. As much as possible, recipes should be homemade from scratch.

I’m loving being back in the kitchen and working on some new recipes! Last week I shared a collection of Slice and Bake Cookie Recipes as well as a post discussing how important it is to Be Kind to Yourself. I also attended the BritMums Live Conference in London. I met some lovely people and it was wonderful to meet some of the bloggers I knew online in real life. I learned a lot and have come back feeling really inspired!

Today I’m featuring two posts from last week’s hop.

The Hearth and Soul Blog Hop

Vicky from Gluten Free SCD and Veggie shared a delicious Gluten Free Rhubarb Crumble suitable for SCD diets. The crumble topping is dairy free and vegan too!

The Hearth and Soul Blog Hop

Laureen from Fox in the Kitchen shared a wonderful post about God’s Little Acre Farm. Don’t miss reading about a wonderful charitable initiative that is making a real difference in the lives of those who do not have enough to eat in parts of British Columbia. There are plans to expand to other areas as well.

On with the Hearth and Soul Hop!

  11. Hi April

Thank you so much for sharing my Rhubarb Crumble, I really appreciate it. This week I’ve shared a recipe from the archives which I think deserves a second mention here now that peaches are beginning to come into the shops – my peach pudding cake recipe!

    Have a lovely week!

  13. Thanks for hosting! 🙂
I’ve shared another ice cream recipe (I don’t have a problem; I could stop any time I wanted to!) This one is mint chip ice cream made with fresh mint. Delicious! And an excellent way to use up any mint that might be threatening to take over your yard. 😉
