Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party Easter Monday

The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party
Welcome to the Easter Monday edition of the Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party! The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party is the link party for all things home and family – family and comfort food recipes, healthy and sustainable living posts, homemaking, gardening, kids, crafts and DIY. We love thought provoking, encouraging and inspiring posts too.

I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend or if you celebrate Passover that it is going well. Good Friday and Easter Monday are ‘Bank Holidays’ in England so many of us have enjoyed a four day weekend. My husband and I were in Christchurch, on the south coast of England, from Thursday to Saturday. We attended our friends’ wedding in a beautiful hotel and had an absolutely wonderful time.

Sunday was spent celebrating Easter with family and today we’ve been driving through country lanes with the roof down.

Hearth and Soul Hop Guy & April at Grey's Court
We stopped at Grey’s Court and Nuffield Place, two stunning National Trust properties. I’ve written about Grey’s Court before and there is a post on Nuffield Place coming soon!

Last Minute Bread Machine Easter Bread
Last week I shared a Last Minute Easter Bread – which actually makes a delicious all year round fruit bread too. It’s super easy (made in the bread machine) and tastes especially lovely toasted.

Giada at The Cromwell, Las Vegas
You can take a peek into Giada de Laurentiis’ first restaurant, Giada Vegas, and read about our wonderful dining experience there in my post Giada at the Cromwell, Las Vegas.

Today I’m featuring:-

Hearth and Soul Hop Tarte a la Bouille
A traditional Old Fashioned Cajun Tarte à la Bouille from Michelle of Ms. enPlace. I love reading about different food traditions and Michelle’s tart looks scrumptious! It reminds me a little of the Custard Tarts we have here in the UK but with a Cajun twist.

Hearth and Soul Hop Grilled Lemon Vinaigrette
Grilled Lemon and Basil Vinaigrette from Janette of Culinary Ginger. This flavourful vinaigrette uses lots of fresh herbs and grilled lemons for a fabulous flavour.

Hearth and Soul Hop Carrot Cake
and a delicious Old Fashioned Carrot Cake from Arlene of Flour on My Face. I always love vintage recipes and Arlene’s Carrot Cake looks fantastic.

Okay, on with the Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party!

The Hearth and Soul Hop Linky party is co-hosted by me, April of AprilJHarris.com and Swathi of Zesty South Indian Kitchen.
