Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party June 13 – 18

The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party
Welcome to the Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party for June 13th through June 18th. We invite you to share all family-friendly posts as well as, of course, food from the hearth to feed your soul.

Please tell your blogging friends about The Hearth and Soul Hop! It would be lovely to have a few more folks link up each week. Every link is visited by one of the hosts and we either comment and/or share each post on social media. Please remember to visit and share some of the other links too – it’s a great way to spread the word and also to be inspired!

Did you know that the Hearth and Soul Hop also has a Facebook page where we feature your posts? We’d love for you to visit and give us a like!

Despite some very changeable weather, I’ve been concentrating on the sunny side of things and sharing recipes that are perfect for summer this week. Don’t miss one of my favourite easy summer dinners –

Quick, easy and oh so delicious Moroccan Shrimp and Couscous

My Moroccan Shrimp and Couscous takes less than half an hour to throw together but it’s an elegant, easy and delicious meal that is perfect for entertaining, date night or just to treat your family to something a little extra special.

Finish off your easy supper with a light and flavourful dessert.

Gooseberry Fool - a light, easy to make dessert that makes the most of this seasonal fruit

Gooseberry Fool is an easy to make, make-ahead dessert that provides a casually elegant finish to any meal.

Thank you to everyone who visited and shared last week. Today I’m featuring:

  1. Thank you April for hosting this party 🙂

I looooooooove couscous (it’s super popular here), but can’t eat shrimps (it’s forbidden for us – religious reason)
We’re actually have couscous for dinner tonight

    • My pleasure, Winnie! Perhaps you could do a vegetarian version with just the chickpeas, perhaps as a warm salad? It works with chicken as well but I know that you are vegetarian 🙂

  2. April, the first link I’m checking out is your gooseberry fool. I can almost never get my hands on any gooseberries, but when I do … Don’t you just love the sound of “gooseberry fool”!

  3. April, thank you so much for featuring my favorite whole food summer recipes post! As you know, I always love linking up each week here. You are the definitely the hostess with the mostess! 🙂

  11. Thanks so much for hosting the party!

  12. April, your Moroccan Shrimp and Couscous is calling my name and will definitely have a place on our summer dinner menus. For this week’s Hearth and Soul Hop I am sharing my favorite Father’s Day menu and recipes which I have dedicated to my dad who was a true foodie! I also brought by my Grilled Pepper Caprese Salad which is one of the featured recipes in my post and is a great addition to any summer barbecue or picnic. As always, I so appreciate all of Swathi’s and your support and I thank you both for all you do!

  13. Thanks for the party April.

    Anne xx

  14. April, just added my version of Aberdeen Butteries. So many great links have been added since my first visit to this week’s hop. I’ll check some out when I get a break. Thank you again.

  15. Couscous cooks in no time, and I like using it when I run out of time to cook. Shrimps too, cooks so quickly. Love your couscous and shrimps dish that is so easy and delicious.
