Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party May 16 to 21

The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party
Welcome to the Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party for May 16th through Saturday the 21st. We invite you to share all family-friendly posts as well as, of course, food from the hearth to feed your soul.

It’s National Vegetarian Week here in the UK this week and I’m planning to enjoy some lovely meat-free meals. Now that asparagus are in season I can make one of my favourites – Spaghetti Primavera al Limone.

I’ve been spending a lot of time in the kitchen working on some new recipes. Last week I shared a delicious Easy Plum Cake Recipe which is lightly spiced and perfect for summer entertaining.

  1. April, thank you for hosting. Nobody does it quite like you and Swathi! I love the look of your plum cake and primavera. Will be checking those out now.

  2. Hi April!–Gotta use the asparagus while it’s here! Unlike other veggies, they are not producing it year round, which makes it very special indeed. 🙂 Loving everything else, too, including those baby espadrilles linked up this week!!

I’ve linked up Coming UnGlutened, which is such a wonderful gluten-free memoir, and my Homemade Chicken Nuggets recipes (yes, two of them–so popular!).

Thanks for hosting. Have a great week!
    Shirley
