I’ve been travelling so much recently I really haven’t had much time in the kitchen. I have however been being inspired by the many wonderful dishes I have been enjoying – especially last week in Israel. I have so many new ideas for recipes!

The Heath and Soul Blog Hop
This was my third visit to Israel but the first time I was able to visit Jerusalem. It truly was an amazing day and I look forward to sharing it in a future blog post!

We are home for several weeks now and I can’t wait to get back in the kitchen as well as returning to a more regular posting schedule. I have been having issues with my web hosts so that has made publishing difficult as well. My web designers and I are working on a move to new host – as well as on some other exciting developments that I can’t wait to share with you!! If you sign up for my weekly email in the box below the comments you’ll be among the first to hear the news!

As always there was some great inspiration shared with last week’s hop. Today I am featuring some delicious recipes using seasonal produce.

    • Hi Michelle, I know what you mean, the time just seems to be flying by! I’ve been struggling to post as much as I would like to as well. I look forward to reading your post. Have a lovely week 🙂

  7. Hi April,

Looking forward to seeing your new recipes and hearing your news.

I haven’t got a recipe to link up this week but I did write a post about a farmer (Gods Little Acre Farm) in our area who over the past 3 years has donated more than 300,000 lbs of fresh vegetables to local food banks and soup kitchens. It’s a remarkable story.

    Have a great week!

    • Thank you, Laureen! I’m excited to read your post. It sounds like just the sort of thing that is perfect for Hearth and Soul. Hope you have a great week too 🙂

  8. April,
We have a wonderful Israel restaurant here in NY called Balaboosta the same as the cookbook. You may want to take a look at it. Really wonderful food. So glad you got to travel back there.

    • Thank you, Diane and thank you for the recommendation. I will definitely look up Balaboosta for our next trip to NYC. We haven’t got a trip booked at the moment but I’m sure we’ll be back before long 🙂

  9. Thanks for hosting! 🙂
I’ve shared a great summer recipe: Butter Chicken in the Crock Pot.

  11. Hi April

I wish I could travel as much as you do, I always enjoy looking at your photos – lucky girl!

I’ve shared my rhubarb crumble and crumble topping recipes today. We ate some crumble topping on top of stewed apples and strawberries last night and I don’t think I’ve tasted a dessert as nice in a long while.

Thank you for hosting, have a lovely week xo

    • Thank you, Vicky, I’m glad you like them. I am so grateful to be able to travel as much as I do. Your crumble topping sounds delicious – I can’t wait to give it a try. Fresh fruit crumbles are so summery! Hope you have a lovely week too 🙂

  12. Thank you APril!
