The Hearth and Soul Hop January 26

The Hearth and Soul Hop
Welcome to the January 26th edition of The Hearth and Soul Hop, the blog hop for family and comfort food recipes, healthy, sustainable living posts, homemaking, gardening, family, kids, crafts and DIY. Encouraging and inspiring posts are very welcome too.

I can’t get over that it is nearly February! January really has flown by. Last week our whole family was fighting off colds. We rarely pick up colds or flu so it seemed a good time to share My Tips for Preventing and Treating Colds. Yesterday was Burns Night last night here in the UK so I shared a bit about this celebration of Scottish poet Robert Burns as well as a vegetarian version of traditional haggis in my post A Vegetarian Burns Night.

Vegan Pad Thai
And an announcement – I’m bringing back Meatless Monday on the blog so I’ll be sharing a tasty meatless recipe every Monday from now on! Don’t miss my quick, easy and very delicious Vegan Pad Thai recipe on the blog today.

Thank you to everyone who joined in with The Hearth and Soul Hop last week. We had more links than ever last week and Swathi and I are both so pleased to see the hop growing. Please, please share the hop with your blogging friends. We’d love to grow the community even further here at Hearth and Soul!

There were so many wonderful posts last week it really was hard to choose features so I decided to go with a Valentine’s Day theme. Here’s just some of the Valentine’s Day inspiration that was shared with last week’s hop:-

13 Valentine's Gifts for Kids at School
Barb of A Life in Balance shared a helpful collection of 13 Valentine’s Gifts for Kids at School,

And pretty Chocolate Dipped Heart Cookies, suitable for gluten and dairy free diets, from Simply 1 2 3 Allergy Free.
