The Hearth and Soul Hop September 15

The Hearth and Soul Blog Hop
Welcome to The Hearth and Soul Hop, the blog hop for family and comfort food recipes, healthy, sustainable living posts, gardening, family, kids, crafts and DIY. Encouraging and inspiring posts are welcome too.

It’s an historic week here in the UK. The referendum on Scottish Independence is on Thursday. We’ve never faced anything like this before. Like so many others, I am praying the people of Scotland will vote ‘no’ and that the United Kingdom will remain united.

It’s been a very busy week in our house so I’ve only managed to share one post – a recipe for seriously delicious Speculaas Snickerdoodle Cookies. Don’t miss my twist on this classic treat!

I was so excited to see 110 posts linked up last week! Thank you to everyone who shared posts. Please tell your blogging friends about the hop, Swathi and I would love to see even more posts shared this week!

This week I’m featuring:

The Hearth and Soul Blog Hop

A collection of 25 Fall Muffin Recipes from Arlene at Flour On My Face

The Hearth and Soul Hop
An elegant main dish – Red Snapper Livornese – from Sandi of A New York Foodie

 The Hearth and Soul Hop

And a delicious fall dessert – Dairy Free Pumpkin Panna Cotta from Debra at Worth Cooking

On with The Hearth and Soul Hop!

The Hearth and Soul Hop is co-hosted by me, April of AprilJHarris.com and Swathi of Zesty South Indian Kitchen.

  1. Hi April,
There is so much unrest surrounding our two countries just now, it calls for comfort food. It is getting cooler here which makes us want to nest for the winter that is coming. Hope you have a good week and thanks so much for the party!

  2. Thanks so much for featuring me April…I am very honored!!! I have a friend in Scotland and I think she will be voting no!! Hope it all turns out ok!!! Have a great week!! 🙂

  3. Thanks for hosting, April !

  4. Thanks for hosting! I’m sharing my Persian Shepard’s Pie. It’s a leftover repurposer with a crispy rice shell! I’m also sharing my Quick Donut Rolls, a gluten-free, yeast-free dinner roll in a fun shape. It’s sure to be a hit with the kids!

  5. Prays are with you April. I don’t understand why Scotland would want to part. It wasn’t conquered by England. It was a kingdom united and it has done well being part of the UK.

  6. Thanks for hosting. Everything looks so good!
    Blessings,
    Shari

  7. I am updating my party list and adding party start times. What day/time do you normally start your party and what is your time zone/city?
