The 14th Anniversary of The 21st Century Housewife

This week marks the 14th anniversary of the launch of The 21st Century Housewife website back in October 2002. I used to upload blog posts the old fashioned way – on a very slow dial up connection! Blogging really was in its infancy with email and blog comments being the only form of social media.

14th Blogiversary of April J Harris and The 21st Century Housewife

Fourteen years, three websites and two re-brands later, I’m very grateful to still love writing here at Thank you all so much for your support – whether you are a long time reader or new to the blog. There’s loads to come here at I’m excited for the future! There’s a new blog and vlog series on health and beauty coming soon, along with more recipes, family, travel, food and style.

I shared some great make-ahead comfort food last week. So often we think of strata as a brunch dish, but it’s the fact you can make it the night before makes it a wonderful weekday breakfast too.

My Brie Basil and Tomato Strata is comforting and delicious, whatever day of the week you choose to eat it!
