Winter can be great – lovely chunky knits, snowy landscapes and the pleasure of hot chocolate in front of a crackling fire. However it’s not always as romantic as that with many people experiencing a sore throat or irritating cough at some point in the season.

Jakemans traditional cough and throat sweets have come to the rescue with the launch of a fruity new flavour, Blackcurrant Menthol. Each sweet is packed with delicious fruity blackcurrant flavours combined with menthol, a very clever ingredient that acts as a mild analgesic and provides stimulating vapours to help keep the nose clear and soothe your throat. To celebrate the launch of Jakemans new fruity Blackcurrant Menthol traditional throat and cough sweets, the Jakemans Pop-up Sweet Shop will be setting up residence at the Natural History Museum Ice Rink in December

Outdoor ice skating is a sure fire way to put yourself, friends and family in the Christmas spirit and Jakemans is giving skaters and visitors the chance to try the whole range of Jakemans soothing menthol confectionary when it opens its complimentary sweet shop rinkside. On offer at the Jakemans Secret Sweet Shop will be all six varieties of Jakemans  including the NEW Blackcurrant Menthol – tasty hard boiled confectionery which not only soothes the throat but also provides stimulating vapours to help keep the nose clear.
