Meatless Monday Ideas from The Hearth and Soul Link Party

Welcome to the Hearth and Soul Link Party! This week I’m featuring Meatless Monday Ideas – and more!

The Hearth and Soul Link Party

In case you missed the announcement last week, Swathi has stepped down from hosting Hearth and Soul for personal reasons. I want to thank my friend Swathi for all her hard work and support over the years and I wish her all the very best as she pursues new opportunities.

Hearth and Soul will be carrying on as usual. I will miss Swathi, but I am excited to move forward and grow the hop.

I’ve been sharing some delicious ideas for Chinese New Year over the last couple weeks.

Healthier Sweet and Sour Chicken, an easy to make, wholesome version of this timeless classic.

Last week I shared a milder, Healthier Sweet and Sour Chicken recipe the whole family will love. It’s perfect for Chinese New Year!

Have you been watching Victoria, either earlier this year in the UK or now on PBS in North America? Come with me on a virtual visit to Kensington Palace!

Kensington Palace - Home of Victoria Revealed

Formerly Queen Victoria’s home, among many other installations, Kensington Palace now houses Victoria Revealed, a wonderful, walk through the life of Queen Victoria, showing all sides of her life – woman, wife, mother and empress.

Wednesday is Burns Night, a popular celebration in the UK. I’m sharing an alternative to the traditional haggis on the blog this week. Don’t miss Not So Offal Mini Haggis and A Bit About Burns Night!

Thank you so much to everyone who visited and shared posts last week.

  1. Hey April-

I’ll miss Swathi and thank her for the many years she co- hosted with you.

  7. April, I am so sorry to see Swathi go. Please give my thanks to her for all her hard work and support. I’m so excited to see Meatless Monday dishes featured this week as we were just discussing the need to incorporate more vegetarian dishes into our dinner menus. For this week’s party, I am sharing some favorite Super Bowl party recipes which are also perfect tummy-warmers for cold winter nights…Tex-Mex Chili-Jack Bake and Beef ‘n Bean Chili-3 Ways. Have a wonderful rest of the week my dear friend and thank you for all you do! xo

    • Me too, Linda, and I definitely will! I’ve been thinking a lot about incorporating more vegetarian dishes in my family’s diet as well. Your recipes sound really warming and comforting – I can’t wait to check them out. Thank you so much for your support of Hearth and Soul, my friend. Hope you are having a wonderful week! xo

  8. Thanks for sharing some meatless recipe ideas. Have a great week!

  9. I am sorry to see Swathi go! Thank you for hosting, April, and have a lovely day!

  10. We do a lot of meatless meals, many times I will slice and cut veggies I have on hand, plae them on a cookies sheet, drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper thenand bake for 35 minutes in a 365* oven, cover with foil the last 10 minutes to prevent burning vegetables. It usuallt makes enough for 2 meals.
