I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love cookies – do you? I’ve shared a lot of cookie recipes in nearly 14 years of blogging (and I’ve got a lot more I still want to share) but these are My Best Cookie Recipes so far. There’s something for everyone in this collection, whether you like your cookies plain or lightly spiced, chocolate-y or fruity, nutty or not. My personal favourite? Well, that would be telling – but I do have a soft spot for anything with crinkles 😉
Far and away the most popular cookie recipe on my blog and consistently in my top 10 posts, Lemon Crinkle Cookies are light, refreshing and more than a little bit addictive. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
Peanut Butter Cookies are a real favourite at our house but these Peanut Butter and Honey Cookies take things to a whole new level. If you like a good peanut butter and honey sandwich, you will love these!
Although these cookies make me think of Christmas, I honestly make Orange Gingerbread Crinkle Cookies all year round. They are the ones my friends and family ask me to make the most often, the cookies that disappear more quickly from my cookie jar than any other!
I adore the convenience of slice and bake cookies. They are easy to make ahead and stash in the fridge or freezer, meaning that you are never more than 10 minutes away from a fresh, hot cookie. My Very Versatile Slice and Bake Cookie recipe is incredibly flexible and adaptable with lots of variations.
These Speculaas Snickerdoodles have a gorgeous hit of warming spice that most folks find pretty much irresistible. A variation on my late Mom’s Snickerdoodle recipe, you don’t need to worry if you can’t find the Speculaas spice mix. Just substitute a teaspoon of cinnamon, half a teaspoon of ginger and a pinch of nutmeg. They won’t taste exactly the same but they are still amazing.
My Slice and Bake Chocolate Chip Cookies are tender, delicious, and full of chocolate-y goodness. Easy to make ahead, they let you wow your friends with hot, fresh cookies at the drop of a hat.
With my best cookie recipes, you’ve got an arsenal of tasty treats that are easy to make and a joy to serve. Look out for more cookie recipes on the blog very soon!
