  1. We had a wonderful Christmas, April. Hope yours was wonderful, too! Hard to believe it’s behind us and we’re getting ready for the New Year. 🙂 I’ve linked up two beverages–one that will work for kiddos and teetotalers and another that is in the potent potable category. 😉 I’ve also linked up some Paleo Pigs in a Blanket. All will work for New Year’s.

Thanks for this week’s Hearth and Soul event. Heading off to check out some of the links in your post and in the linky!

    Shirley

    • I’m so glad your Christmas was wonderful, Shirley. Ours was too! I can’t believe how fast the time is flying by. Your recipes sound fantastic – especially those Paleo Pigs in Blankets (although I do love a potent potable!!). Thank you for sharing with us!

  2. Wishing you abundant blessings in 2017 and thanks so much for all the wonderful parties in 2016!
    Miz Helen

    • Oh Miz Helen, thank you so much, and thank you for your support of Hearth and Soul too! Wishing you and your family all the very best in 2017 – may it be a year of blessings for you too!

  3. April, thank you for hosting, especially at this busy time. My link is especially appropriate this week because Tourtiere – French Canadian Meat Pie – is traditionally served on New Year’s Eve (as well as Christmas Eve). Those orange cookies and the black bean casserole are first on my list of several links I want to visit.

  4. Happy New Years!!!! Hope you are closing out a wonderful 2016 and looking forward to an even better 2017! Thanks for all of you support!

  5. April, I was so surprised to find you and Swathi had featured my Stress-free Holiday Menu Planning with Recipes post this week! Thank you so much! For this week’s party, I brought some of my favorite New Year’s treats…Grilled Moroccan Shrimp with Cherry-Pom Dipping Sauce and Seafood Cocktail with Spicy Mango Mayo . As always, I am so very appreciative of the time and effort you both devote to the Hearth and Soul Hop each week and am so grateful for your support. A Happy and Healthy New Year to both of you!

    • It’s a pleasure, Linda 🙂 I’m so glad you’ve shared such delicious seafood recipes for New Year. I always associate seafood with New Year’s Eve! Thank you so much for your support of Hearth and Soul, and of my blog. A Happy and Healthy New Year to you and yours too!

  6. Marisa González says:

Dear April. I’m glad to find you have featured my crêpes recipe. It’s part of a project to help African women and also against famine. The book can be downloaded only for 5 euros. Thanks a lot.
I wish you all the best for the New Year to you and your family.
    Regards from Valencia.

    • It’s a pleasure, Marisa. What a great cause to support. I loved your recipe, but I also loved that you were using it to help others too! Wishing you and yours a very Happy New Year!
