Red, White and Blue from The Hearth and Soul Link Party

Welcome to this week’s Hearth and Soul Link Party where this week there’s lots of red, white and blue to inspire your patriotic celebrations!

The Hearth and Soul Link Party where we welcome posts about anything that feeds your soul

I had red and white on my mind last week as we were celebrating Canada’s 150th Birthday. This week I’m adding blue to the mix as it celebrates both the 4th of July and also inspires British patriotic celebrations at summer events in England.

If you are celebrating the 4th of July this week, I hope you have a fabulous time!

At The Hearth and Soul Link Party, posts about anything that feeds your soul are welcome – from family, home, decorating, crafts and DIY to travel, organisation, book reviews, the arts and self improvement. And of course, food from the hearth to feed your soul is a real favourite here too!

Last week I shared more about the summer events in England.

From our adventures at the stylish Henley Royal Regatta to the amazing things you can see at Wimbledon, summer is a fantastic time to visit our sceptred isle!

I also shared a family recipe for a beautiful, versatile dessert.

Mixed Fruit Pavlova

Mixed Fruit Pavlova can be adapted for any occasion. I make it with strawberries and raspberries for Canada Day. If you incorporate blueberries, it’s perfect for the 4th of July. Whatever fruit you use, everyone will love this classic dessert.
