  8. Lots of salads tumbling out of my garden right now, and yesterday we went sightseeing on Peaks Island, Maine. Life long Mainer, but had never been to this scenic spot off the coast of Portland.

    • Ooh, I love salads this time of year, Michele! We used to go to Maine on summer vacation when I was little but I haven’t been in years, sadly. Peaks Island sounds gorgeous.
