The Gallery of Favorites: 1 June

Alea of Premeditated Leftovers and I want to welcome you to our weekend blog hop; The Gallery of Favorites, where you can share your favorite posts from your own blog.

Thank you to everyone who shared posts last week. This week Alea and I are featuringDisappearing Babies and The Teen Friendly Summer Bucket List by Marcy of (Don’t Be) Too Timid and Squeamish.\

In this moving post, Marcy writes about the bittersweet joy of watching her boys grow into young men. Marcy also shares a teen-friendly summer bucket list that can be enjoyed by her whole family. I really identified with Marcy’s post as my own son is finishing his last year of high school (sixth form college in England) as I write this. Marcy has inspired me to encourage my family to make a summer bucket list of our own.

Marcy shares her adventures at (Don’t Be) Too Timid and Squeamish, as she strives to complete ‘101 Things in 1001 Days’. All 101 things are designed to take her out of her comfort zone and help her to become less ‘timid and squeamish’. Marcy also hosts a blog carnival called Scenes from a Memoir on the first and third Friday of every month.

Although Alea and I both spend a lot of our time writing about food, we  also have many other interests and we know that our readers do as well. The Gallery of Favorites is a place for all bloggers to share their ideas, interests and passions.

Please share your favorite posts with our Gallery of Favorites below.

Include a link to your actual posts, rather than to your blog.

Please include a link to one of the hosts in your post, either through text or with our button:

We hope you will visit some of the other posts that are shared here. It’s a great way to discover new blogs, or a new side to the writers you already know.

The Gallery will remain open until Monday afternoon (early evening in the UK).
