The Gallery of Favorites: 9 March

Alea of Premeditated Leftovers and I want to welcome you to our weekend blog hop, The Gallery of Favorites, a place for you to feature favorite posts from your own blog. We are posting the hop a bit early as I am in California this week, and so in the same time zone with Alea for a change!

Thank you to everyone who shared posts last week. This week we are featuring Karen of Trilogy Edibles and her Rapunzel Rapunzel Let Down Your Hair post. For her birthday, Karen’s daughter Rowan requested a Rapunzel Tower Cake.

Karen’s post is a wonderfully frank tutorial about the making of the cake, including step by step instructions. She also gives an appraisal of the things that worked as well as those that those that didn’t, along with some great advice about taking on a project of this magnitude. From desserts and treats to beautiful cookies and cakes, Karen’s Trilogy Edibles is definitely a great place to visit for inspiration.

Although Alea and I both spend a lot of our time writing about food, we do have many other interests and know that our readers do as well. The Gallery of Favorites is a place for all bloggers – not just food bloggers – to share their ideas, interests and passions. Of course, recipe and food posts are very welcome too.

We would love it if you would share your favorite posts with our Gallery of Favorites below. Posts on any family friendly subject are welcome, and of course your recipes and food posts are very welcome too. You can share new or archived posts, but please update the latter with a link back to the Gallery. It’s easy –

Link up your favorite post(s) below.

Include a link to your actual posts, rather than to your blog.

Please include a link to one of the hosts in your post, either through text or with our button:

We hope you will visit some of the other wonderful posts that are shared here. It’s a great way to discover new blogs, or a new side to the writers of blogs you are already familiar with.

The Gallery will remain open until Monday afternoon (early evening in the UK).
