Alea of Premeditated Leftovers and I want to welcome you to our weekend blog hop; The Gallery of Favorites, a place to share your favorite posts from your own blog.
Thank you to everyone who shared posts last week. This week Alea and I are featuring Nancy of On the Home Front. Nancy is also a Contributing Editor of Prudent Living Magazine, and she has shared a number of great posts with the Gallery including

Nancy lives in Vermont, and during her 30 years of gardening, she has completed both a Master Gardener and the Master Composter programs. She is interested in providing delicious, nutritious, chemical-free food for her family. Nancy gardens organically, and what food is not consumed immediately she tries to preserve to be enjoyed later. She loves walking into her pantry and seeing shelves filled with the garden’s bounty.
“Both my husband and I have always been interested in living a more sustainable life, trying to save money, spending less and not getting so caught up in the ‘have more’ mentality. I have always been a stay at home mom and raising four children on my husbands salary was often challenging! Now that our two oldest daughters are married and on their own and our two sons are still in college it seemed a natural progression to be involved in Prudent Living Magazine. When they approached me about writing a blog for them it seemed like a natural choice as they believe in living prudently, and learning how to live a greener, healthier, more sustainable life.
Recently Nancy has been exploring a new hobby, cheesemaking, and has had great success with her Colby cheese recipe.
Although Alea and I both spend a lot of our time writing about food, we also have many other interests and we know that our readers do as well. The Gallery of Favorites is a place for all bloggers to share their ideas, interests and passions.
