Alea of Premeditated Leftovers and I want to welcome you to our weekend blog hop; The Gallery of Favorites, a place to share your favorite posts from your own blogs.

Thank you to everyone who linked up last week. Last week I shared a post about my interview with Taste of Home’s Food Editor, Karen Berner. One of the things Karen and I talked aboutTaste of Home’s newest publication, Best Loved Recipes, and this week Alea and I have a copy to give away!

There’s something for everyone in this lovely book, which also includes inspiring menus for nearly every occasion. Cran-Orange Coconut Cake, one of over 1400 recipes compiled in Best Loved Recipes, was the first recipe I made from the book.

To be entered into the draw to win a copy sent directly from the publisher, simply share a post with us today!  If you haven’t got a post to share, just send me an email to enter. The contest closes on Wednesday and the winner will be announced in next week’s Gallery of Favorites post. (As the book is being sent direct from the publishers, this giveaway is open only to readers in the continental USA.)

While this cookbook features best-loved American recipes, if a British version were to be published it should definitely feature this beautiful Grain Free Raspberry Ripple Cake from Vicky at Gluten Free SCD and Veggie.

This cake is gluten-free, suitable for the SCD diet and looks so delicious! Raspberries are in season right now – you can learn more about just how good for you they are in Vicky’s post – so you have the perfect excuse to treat your family to this beautiful cake!

Although Alea and I both spend a lot of our time writing about food, we  also have many other interests and we know that our readers do as well. The Gallery of Favorites is a place for all bloggers to share their ideas, interests and passions.

Please share your favorite posts with our Gallery of Favorites below.

Include a link to your actual posts, rather than to your blog.

Please include a link to one of the hosts in your post if you want to be considered for our weekly feature, either through text or with our button:

The Gallery will remain open until Monday afternoon (early evening in the UK). We hope you will visit some of the other posts that are shared here. It’s a great way to discover new blogs, or a new side to the writers you already know.

Don’t forget to enter to win a copy of Taste of Home’s Best Loved Recipes, and please remember to send me an email comment after linking!

The 21st Century Housewife has not been compensated for this post. I did receive a free copy of Taste of Home’s Best Loved Recipes, and the giveaway copy is also courtesy of Taste of Home.
