The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party March 2

The Hearth and Soul Blog Hop
Welcome to the March 2nd edition of The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party, the link party for all things home and family – family and comfort food recipes, healthy, sustainable living posts, homemaking, gardening, kids, crafts and DIY. We also love encouraging and inspiring posts!

The London Eye
This week I shared a post about one of the biggest tourist attractions in my favourite city.

Phyllis Logan for Dementia UK
I also wrote about Time for a Cuppa. You may know actress Phyllis Logan (above) as Mrs Hughes of Downton Abbey but she is also a Time for a Cuppa Ambassador for Dementia UK.

Brie Basil and Tomato Strata
And I shared a rather scrumptious Brie Basil and Tomato Strata. This easy, make ahead, bake in the morning recipe is perfect for breakfast, lunch or brunch!

This week I’m featuring two posts:-

St Patrick's Day Cookies

There are easy step by step instructions for how to create these pretty and very delicious Shamrock Sugar Cookies for St Patrick’s Day in this post from Premeditated Leftovers.

Cherry Cake - Miz Helen's Country Cottage
I adore maraschino cherries so I couldn’t resist this beautiful Cherry Cake with Cherry Frosting from Miz Helen’s Country Cottage.

Thank you so much to everyone who visited and shared last week. On with the Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party!

The Hearth and Soul Hop Linky party is co-hosted by me, April of and Swathi of Zesty South Indian Kitchen.

  11. Hi April,
This time I have linked “Khoya Guiya”, a traditional Indian sweet which is made on the festival of Holi, which is on 5th of March.

  12. Hi April, my link (#99) is to my Prune Spice Cake, something best just called spice cake when you’re offering it to a picky eater who only *thinks* he doesn’t like prunes!

    • Hi Jean, Your cake sounds lovely to me (I love prunes) but I agree, probably best to just call it spice cake in many circumstances! I look forward to seeing your recipe 🙂
