The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party March 9

The Hearth and Soul Blog Hop
Welcome to the March 9th edition of The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party, the link party for all things home and family – family and comfort food recipes, healthy, sustainable living posts, homemaking, gardening, kids, crafts and DIY. We also love encouraging and inspiring posts!

This week’s Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party finds me in the Bay Area, near San Francisco. One of my favourite cities, I’ve shared several posts about San Francisco over the years including San Francisco in a Day – The 49 Mile Drive and Places to Visit in San Francisco, which shares some of my favourite parts of this  very special city.

My husband and I are celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary today – and his birthday as well. He’s at work today but I’m looking forward to joining him for dinner this evening in Santana Row.

The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party
Special thanks to the Intercontinental Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco (home of the iconic Top of The Mark) for helping to make our anniversary/birthday celebrations extra special this weekend!

The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party

My husband booked a suite but when the Mark Hopkins heard it was a special weekend they upgraded us – and gave us a bottle of bubbles as well!

But on with the hop! Today I’m featuring:

Mini No Bake Cheesecake Treats at the Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party
Mini No Bake Cheesecake Treats from Louanne’s Kitchen

Decoupage Easter Eggs at the Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party

and Pretty Decoupage Easter Eggs from Confessions of an Overworked Mom

I also want to feature two really helpful posts about the New Dietary Guidelines. Eat Fat to Lose Weight from Diane of Simple Living and Eating and Let’s Start at the Very Beginning from My Sister’s Pantry both contain really helpful advice about this healthier way of eating.

Thank you so much to everyone who visited and shared last week.

Okay, let’s get the party started!

The Hearth and Soul Hop Linky party is co-hosted by me, April of and Swathi of Zesty South Indian Kitchen.
