The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party May 25

The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party
Welcome to the May 25th edition of the Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party! The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party is  the link party for all things home and family – family and comfort food recipes, healthy and sustainable living posts, homemaking, gardening, kids, crafts and DIY. We love thought-provoking, encouraging and inspiring posts too.

I’m visiting California at the moment (my husband is on business and I have come along). It’s been lovely enjoying this wonderful part of the world. I also had the opportunity to meet a blogging friend last week, Sandi Gaertner of Fearless Dining. I so enjoyed spending some time with Sandi as well as learning more about her blog. It’s really good fun to meet people I have known only virtually ‘in real life’.

The Heath and Soul Hop Link Party
Sandi is a gluten-free blogger but her delicious recipes will appeal to everyone who loves good food. She also shares reviews of gluten-free products and restaurants in the San Francisco and Bay Areas that cater to those who need to follow a gluten-free diet.

And as always I have been great fun enjoying the sights in this beautiful part of the world. It has also been nice to enjoy some time with my hubby when he hasn’t been busy working.

The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party

Last week I shared two recipes, a delicious vegetarian Spaghetti Primavera al Limone and a fabulously versatile recipe for my Best Barbecue Sauce. It is perfect with just about any meat or fish (and wonderful with veggie sausages or burgers). It even works as a slow cooker sauce!

I also have a giveaway for UK Readers – you can win two tickets to the exciting new HOUSE Event at Olympia, London – which also includes admission to the Spirit of Summer Fair.  I’m really sorry but the location of this show makes it impossible to open the giveaway world-wide.

Today I am featuring:

  11. Hi April,
That’s so cool that you got to meet up with Sandi. As I’m gluten free, her blog is one that I follow. If your husband’s work ever brings you to the Vancouver area, we must do tea!
I’m still working my way through my 52 salad recipes series and linked up a recipe with a yummy Carrot Ginger Dressing. There’s raw carrots and ginger in the dressing. talk about doubling up on veggies!
Have a great week and safe travels 🙂
