The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party October 19

As I write this, we are about to say ‘arrivederci’ to Venice after a wonderful four day break here. As soon as my feet touch the ground I’ll be writing a post – or two – about our adventures. It’s going to be a busy few days though – we only have three days at home before we fly to San Francisco on Friday. I’m loving this busy season in our life and am excited to return to one of my favourite parts of the world!

Thank you so much to everyone who visited and shared last week. Today I’m featuring:

The Hearth and Soul Hop Features on
Perennial Tomatoes – Year Five from Kathi at Oak Hill Homestead

Chicken Tenders with Saffron from Diane at Simple Living and Eating

Yellow Squash with Red Pepper from MJ at MJ’s Kitchen

Finally, if you are looking for a quick, easy, seriously delicious dessert treat, don’t miss this Chocolate and Raspberry Jam Cake Recipe. It is the work of moments, smells wonderful as it cooks, and tastes even better!

  3. Is that San Marco in the distance. Venice is gorgeous and San Francsico is well, hilly. But the food is good. Enjoy your time.

    • Yes it is, Diane 🙂 I always enjoy our visits to San Francisco too, although we stay closer to San Jose most of the time – so a bit less hilly most of the time and thankfully warmer too 🙂

  4. Thank you for featuring my post Perennial Tomatoes – Year Five on this week’s hop, April. Wishing you safe travels!

  5. I love that you are having such marvelous travels, April! Love San Francisco and Venice is on my “to visit” list for sure!

That cake of yours looks absolutely sensational.

This week I’m linking up some divine treats, Dark Chocolate Walnut Bliss Bars and Pumpkin 7-Layer Bars. Yumminess all the way around!

  6. Can’t wait to see your Venice posts!

  7. Thanks for hosting the party again, April! Since you’ve been in Italy this week, I brought a Mushroom Marsala to the party. 🙂 Looks like you’ve been having a blast!
