Welcome to the Hearth and Soul Hop Linky Party! I hope you had a lovely weekend and enjoyed celebrating Valentine’s Day with family, friends and the one(s) you love. My husband and I had a lovely evening together, including dinner at one of our favourite local restaurants.

  1. No matter how long one has been married, the romance must be kept alive for sure! Going on 34 years for us and it’s still so important to get out of our daily environment to reconnect with each other—whether it’s going to the movies, out to dinner, on a weekend trip, etc. Love the picture of you both! Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s worth celebrating more than a day, right? 😉

This week I’m linking up Chocolate Banana Swirl Muffins from my last March Muffin Madness event and my Popovers. We always need delicious ways to use ripe bananas and everyone loves my popovers!

    Thanks for hosting, April!
    Shirley

    • I completely agree, Shirley, it’s definitely worth celebrating more than a day 🙂 Reconnecting regularly is so important in a relationship. Your muffins sound amazing and I love the popover recipe. It’s so good to have a gluten free recipe for this classic! Have a lovely week 🙂

  2. Hi April,
Hope you had a fantastic Valentine Weekend. I am sharing one of my favorite Meatless Monday’s on my Menu this week, Stuffed Acorn Squash with Swiss Chard and Wild Rice, I can’t wait for dinner this evening. Thanks so much for the party and have a wonderful week!
