Vegetarian Recipes for National Vegetarian Week
It’s National Vegetarian Week (NVW)here in the UK and I’m celebrating with a collection of delicious vegetarian recipes. Of course, these recipes are suitable anytime – it’s just this is an especially good time to enjoy them!

Have you ever considered becoming a vegetarian? I was vegetarian for a few years in my teens and although I now eat meat and fish, I consider myself an Occasional Vegetarian. I’m always working to create delicious new recipes to help my family eat less meat. Eating less meat can benefit your health, the environment and your bank balance.

This year’s National Vegetarian Week is all about sharing. You can share your family’s food, stories and traditions by pulling up a chair and joining in the discussion at the Vegetarian Society’s Kitchen Table.

As for me, I’ll be enjoying as many meat free meals as I can this week. Here are some vegetarian recipes to inspire you!

  1. I have been a vegetarian since I was 9 years old, I think everyone thought it would be short lived, but here I am, all these years later! When people ask me ‘what do you eat’ or ‘it must be so boring’ I always say no and still feel shocked people think that, there are so many delicious vegetarian dishes out there, many of them on this post! I am also now feeling incredibly hungry!

    • I agree, Hayley, there are so many interesting and delicious vegetarian dishes out there you could never get bored – and thank you so much for the compliment 🙂

  2. Though I can’t follow a vegan diet all my life since I love meat, but still I agree with you vegetarian doesn’t have to be boring, and here is a great example for that. What a gorgeous vegetarian roundup. Pinning.

  3. Wowwwww
What a great roundup! I’m a vegetarian so this is a celebration for me
