Welcome to The Hearth and Soul Link Party. It’s nearly the end of August and we’re getting ready for back to school, no matter how old we are!
I love the idea that “September is the new January”, so I always look on back to school time as a fantastic time to start fresh.
At The Hearth and Soul Link Party, posts about anything that feeds your soul are welcome – from family, home, decorating, crafts and DIY to travel, organisation, book reviews, the arts and self improvement. And of course, food from the hearth to feed your soul is a real favourite here too!
Now that we are starting to look towards fall, I am thinking about warming spices and tasty treats that go well with nice hot drinks. Speaking of warming spices, if you love them as much as I do, you will really enjoy my latest cake.
My Triple Ginger Pound Cake is a triumvirate of gorgeous gingery flavour, featuring three kinds of ginger. Far from being overpowering, this combination provides a sweet, gentle warmth that makes this cake something very special indeed.
And in the spirit of Back To School and Meatless Monday, today I’ve shared some dinner inspiration and recipes.
There’s something for everyone in my Vegetarian Dinner Ideas for Back to School. Even confirmed meat eaters will love these recipes!
