Happy Holidays! Welcome to the Christmas 2022 Edition of The Hearth and Soul Link Party.
The Hearth and Soul Link Party welcomes family-friendly blog posts about anything that feeds the soul. Things that feed the soul may include (but are not limited to) recipes, decorating, crafts, family, home, DIY, organization, travel, book reviews, the arts and self improvement.
It’s Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas
I am so excited for the holiday season! I don’t know about you, but for me Christmas 2022 feels like the first nearly ‘normal’ Christmas since 2019. My son and his partner are coming to us for Christmas this year and I am so looking forward to having Christmas together at home.
November was a busy month. In addition to all the recipe development, holiday preparations, blogging etc, I gave an online presentation on How a Blog Can Help Your Business to a group of UK entrepreneurs and ran an in person Pinterest for Your Business course. We also travelled to London for some press and personal events. London is so beautiful at Christmastime! I was very excited to have a private tour of the Dior takeover at Harrods, one of London’s most iconic department stores. You can join me behind the scenes here on my Instagram.
Yesterday, my family and I visited The Bath Christmas Market. I’m currently in the process of updating this blog post with new photographs, but I do hope you will pop over and have a visit.
On The Blog
November has been a banner month for the blog. I’m grateful to say that visitor numbers are at an all time high, due in no small part to a post which went a little bit viral on Facebook with over 11,000 shares.
My Orange Gingerbread Crinkle Cookies often get rave reviews, but Christmas 2022 has been an exceptional year for them!
There are so many other recipes and ideas for the holidays on the blog, as well as tips to help you with Easy Holiday Entertaining (without stress!) and to make Holiday Shopping Easy.

Thank you all for visiting and sharing your wonderful content! Here are some posts which caught my eye.
I really enjoyed Nancy of Colors 4 Health’s Hanukkah a Mini Guide to the Jewish Holiday. I always love learning more about other holidays and traditions. I wanted to call this The Holiday Edition of The Hearth and Soul Link Party to be more inclusive, but the terminology “Holiday Season” does not resonate in every country. (Of course it does for me because I was born in Canada!) However, over here in the UK and Europe, the term ‘holiday season’ would be used to refer to when people go away from home on holiday, not this most wonderful time of the year!
Carol of Comfort Spring shared some very tempting Chocolate Muffins with Sweet Potato. I love baking with sweet potatoes and squash – they add such lovely texture to baked goods.
I love a good baked brie – and this Kahlua Baked Brie from Tracey at The Kitchen is My Playground looks absolutely irresistible!
These cute Dollar Tree Crafts Clay Pot Gingerbread People from Creatively Beth would be a fun Christmas decoration to make with kids – or on your own! Also, don’t miss Beth’s Free Printable Hand Drawn Christmas Coloring Pages.’
Laura Kelly shared some fun Giant Reindeer Gift Tags for Holiday Gifts. These would look so cute on presents!
On with the party!
