Like a lot of you, I’ve been working on healthy eating as part of my New Year’s Resolutions, so I’m always excited to discover a company like Boost Juice Bars. Established in Australia in the year 2000, Boost Juice Bars now have nearly 300 stores in 20 countries around the world. The UK branch of the company was established in 2007 and is going from strength to strength, marketing low fat smoothies, super smoothies, fruit crushes and juices as well as energy balls and superfood supplements to add to their drinks.
Recently, I attended an event at The Oracle, Reading, where I learned more about Boost Juice Bars -and had some fun too! After a talk about the history of the company and the delicious, healthy products they have on offer, we were invited to put on our aprons and get behind the counter at Boost Juice Bar so that we could make our own healthy drinks.
It was wonderful to get behind the scenes and see the fresh, healthy ingredients Boost Juice Bars use first hand. From a patented probiotic TD4 Low Fat Yogurt with 3 live cultures specially developed for Boost to their bespoke juices, everything is one hundred percent natural. Boost products contain no added sugars and all their fruit and vegetables are either fresh or instant quick frozen when they are picked to lock in all the nutrients.
All Boost’s drinks are made to order so they can be personalised to suit each customer. Don’t like blueberries? Leave them out of your drink or substitute them with another fruit you love! Add a booster supplement like protein or energiser PLUS or even throw in an energy ball. (Boost’s energy balls taste great as a snack too – they come in three delicious flavours.)
I chose to make a Berry Crush, which contained raspberries, strawberries, blackcurrants, apple juice, sorbet and ice. It was fun selecting the ingredients, knowing I could change whatever I wanted to make the drink personal to me. I stuck to the recipe, but added a protein PLUS booster to help with my healthy eating resolutions.
Boost’s smoothies and fruit crushes were delicious – we all loved them!
Full of tasty, fresh ingredients, our drinks were like meals in a glass – really satisfying, refreshing and tasty too. Boost Juice Bars deliciously healthy smoothies, fruit crushes and juices can definitely form a part of my healthy eating resolutions.
Boost Juice Bars are building up a great reputation across the UK – when I shared with my readers that I had attended the event, my friend Carole-Anne sent me a picture of her gorgeous twins, Dexter and Harley, enjoying one of their smoothies.
Seems I’m definitely not the first to discover Boost Juice Bars’ refreshing, healthy smoothies, fruit crushes and juices!
You can find Boost Juice Bars at The Oracle, Reading in the upper mall.
Disclosure: I was compensated to attend the Boost Juice Bars event at The Oracle, Reading. I also received a goody bag containing promotional products and coupons for free product. This has not affected my opinion of the business or the products. This post, as always, contains my honest personal opinions.
