Welcome to The Hearth and Soul Hop, a blog hop for recipes using healthy ingredients, family and comfort food recipes, articles about healthy living, real, local and sustainable food, foraging, herbal remedies, organics and gardening. As much as possible, recipes should be homemade from scratch.
My family and I have been celebrating Easter. Here in the UK, Good Friday and Easter Monday are Bank Holidays, meaning that we have a four day weekend. It’s been a lovely time to catch up with family and friends, but I’ve not been doing much in the way of writing or blogging these last few days so if I haven’t managed to visit your post yet please bear with me.
Today I’m featuring three recipes from last week’s hop that would make a wholesome and delicious menu for a celebration dinner.
Sprouted Lentil and Quinoa Salad from Fox in the Kitchen
Family Style Pesto Salmon Wrapped in Filo from My Healthy Eating Habits
Sweet Potato French Toast Custard from Creating Silver Linings

Lotta good stuff here! So much to eat, so little stomach capacity! Although, alas, I never let that stop me. 😉
Me either, John 🙂 There really are some good recipes here, that is for sure!
April,
Thank you for featuring my pesto salmon in filo! I hope the weather is lovely in your neck of the world. It’s starting to heat up here, but it’s still comfortable. Have a great week-end!
My pleasure, Mireya! It’s slowly getting a bit warmer here. The sun has been a bit shy these last few days but today is lovely. Hope you have a great weekend too 🙂
