An Easier Way to Make Simple Syrup
  • 1 cup (250 ml) boiling water
  • 1 cup (200 grams) granulated or caster sugar
  1. Bring the water to a boil and carefully pour it into a measuring jug.
  2. Add the sugar and whisk together.
  3. Continue whisking for 2 to 3 minutes or until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Pour the simple syrup into a clean jar with a lid.
  5. Seal and allow to cool at room temperature.
  6. Store in the fridge for up to 7 days.
