Welcome to the Hearth and Soul Link Party. This is definitely the time for fall celebrations, and I’m making the most of it! There are lots of ideas here to help make every day of this wonderful month special.
At the Hearth and Soul Link Party, you can share blog posts old and new, about anything that feeds the soul. This includes – but is not limited to – family, home, recipes, decorating, crafts, DIY, travel, organisation, book reviews, the arts and self improvement.
What’s New?
How are things in your corner of the world? I followed my own tips on How to Avoid Jet Lag and I didn’t experience any jet lag at all on the first legs of our trips (London – San Francisco – Austin – Dallas – London – Toronto). However the short 6 hour flight home from Toronto and the 5 hour time change got me. Luckily I’ve got some tricks up my sleeve for those times when, despite your best efforts, jet lag catches up with you!
I’m definitely enjoying my purchases from the Magnolia Silos including this meaningful word art which we’ve put up above the hutch in our kitchen. I’m grateful for so many things, and these pretty words are a great way to share that. You can see more of my day to day life and my home on Instagram. I’d love to follow you there!
Now we are back home, my husband and I are enjoying wholesome, warming seasonal breakfasts.
This Gluten Free Cranberry Orange Baked Oatmeal is one of our favourites.
Fall Celebrations Features
Thank you to everyone for visiting and sharing. This week’s fall celebrations featured posts include (from top left, clockwise):-
There’s a simple Paper Fall Leaf Wreath at Penny’s Vintage Home that would make a great decoration for a celebration.
Lisa at Fresh Vintage By Lisa has some Easy New Sew Velvet Pumpkins that would make lovely decorations as well.
I would enjoy these luscious Caramel Cashew Slices from Mareliz of Kocina de Pinay any time, celebration or not!
Celebrate the gorgeous colours of fall with National Fall Foliage Week from Grammy’s Grid. The post includes a link to a state by state guide with peak times for optimum fall colour enjoyment!
Enjoy a slice (or two!) of this wonderful Pumpkin Ice Box Cake from Nancy of On The Home Front at your fall celebrations and parties. It’s easy to put together and really pretty too.

Glad you are back home! I love traveling too! We spent 2 weeks in Alaska and that was an adjustment coming back. But then I spent a month in Colorado and had no adjustment there but had to adjust coming back east.
We are finally getting some cooler (read 80’s) temps and it’s helping to put me in the fall state of mind!
Thanks for hosting such a lovely party!
