Welcome to The Hearth and Soul Hop, a blog hop for recipes using healthy ingredients, family and comfort food recipes, articles about healthy living, real, local and sustainable food, foraging, herbal remedies, organics and gardening. As much as possible, recipes should be homemade from scratch.
Before I get on with this week’s features, I have an announcement – The winner of the Homestead Cooking with Carol – Bountiful Make-Ahead Meals Ebook Giveaway is Darlene Roundebush. I’ve been trying to contact Darlene since last week but as there is no email address associated with her comment it is proving difficult. Please can you get in touch with me as soon as possible, Darlene? If I haven’t heard from you by Friday I will have to choose another winner.
My husband and I arrived home from California last Wednesday and since then I’ve been unpacking and catching up with the washing. As we were away much of the weekend, it’s proved a bit difficult but I’m getting there! On the blog I’ve been sharing Spring Cleaning Tips for Around the Home and a deliciously Light Chicken Tetrazzini recipe.
This week I’m featuring some tasty seafood recipes from last week’s hop.
Coconut Cod with Pineapple Salsa
Erica’s Recipes
Sweet and Spicy Orange Glazed Salmon
Yesterfood
Fish with an Almond, Garlic and Lemon Topping
(Gluten, Dairy and Grain Free)

Thanks for hosting! March may be almost over… but it doesn’t look like the cold is going to let up anytime soon! Luckily, this makes it perfect weather for a good Irish Stew! And I’m sharing Brussels Sprout Stew — or How to Tackle March like and Irishwoman — this week! 🙂
