A warm welcome to The Hearth and Soul Hop, a blog hop for recipes using healthy ingredients, family and comfort food recipes, articles about healthy living, real, local and sustainable food, foraging, herbal remedies, organics and gardening. As much as possible, recipes should be homemade from scratch.
And now for the winners of last week’s Hearth and Soul Hop 4th Anniversary Giveaway! Thank you so much to everyone for entering as well as for your support of The Hearth and Soul Hop.
The winners are:
$50 Amazon gift card – #12 Laureen

We’ll be contacting the winners by email to arrange delivery of their gift cards. Congratulations ladies!
I’ve been travelling so much recently I really haven’t had much time in the kitchen. I have however been being inspired by the many wonderful dishes I have been enjoying – especially last week in Israel. I have so many new ideas for recipes!
We are home for several weeks now and I can’t wait to get back in the kitchen as well as returning to a more regular posting schedule. I have been having issues with my web hosts so that has made publishing difficult as well. My web designers and I are working on a move to new host – as well as on some other exciting developments that I can’t wait to share with you!! If you sign up for my weekly email in the box below the comments you’ll be among the first to hear the news!
As always there was some great inspiration shared with last week’s hop. Today I am featuring some delicious recipes using seasonal produce.
Fresh Strawberry Pie in a Chocolate Crust from Tessa The Domestic Diva
Rhubarb Buckle from Prudent Living – On the Home Front
Vanilla Pineapple Cake from Living the Gourmet
