A warm welcome to The Hearth and Soul Hop, the blog hop for recipes using healthy ingredients, family and comfort food recipes, articles about healthy living, real, local and sustainable food, foraging, herbal remedies, organics and gardening. As much as possible, recipes should be homemade from scratch.
Before we start the hop, I have a sad announcement to make. Alea of Premeditated Leftovers is stepping down from hosting the Hearth and Soul Hop due to pressures of work. Swathi and I are very sorry to lose Alea as a co-host but of course we will stay in touch and continue to be regular visitors to Premeditated Leftovers. Alea and I joined the hop as co-hosts at around the same time and I’m so grateful to her for the contribution she has made to Hearth and Soul as well as for all her hard work!
Thank you to everyone who visited and shared recipes and posts last week. Today I’m featuring two delicious summery desserts:
A lovely Old Fashioned Banana Cream Pie from Joy of Yesterfood
and a delicious traditional Blackberry Cobbler from Miz Helen’s Country Cottage
On with the Hearth and Soul Hop!
