Welcome to the Thanksgiving Edition of The Hearth and Soul Hop, the blog hop for family and comfort food recipes, healthy, sustainable living posts, homemaking, gardening, family, kids, crafts and DIY. Encouraging and inspiring posts are very welcome too.
I was in San Francisco last week, one of my favourite cities in the world. We have just returned home so I’m a little behind on visiting and sharing some of your posts from last week but I will definitely catch up within the next couple of days!
Thank you so much to everyone who visited and shared last week. I love cranberries in both Thanksgiving and Christmas recipes and as it’s Thanksgiving in the US this week, today I’m featuring some of the cranberry recipes that were shared with the hop last week.
Cranberry Filled Muffins from Wine Lady Cooks
Cranberry Jell-O Mold from from The McCallum’s Shamrock Patch
Cranberry Sauce from Cooking on a Budget
Microwave Maple Orange Cranberry Sauce from Sumptuous Spoonfuls
Gluten Free Cranberry Pumpkin Muffins from RCH Reviews
Cranberry Apple Walnut Stuffing from Cincy Shopper
If you love cranberries as much as I do, you may also enjoy my Cranberry Orange and Ginger Loaf and my Carrot, Macadamia and Cranberry Muffins.
Ok, on with the Thanksgiving Edition of the Hearth and Soul Hop! I celebrated Thanksgiving with my family back in October as our heritage is Canadian but I do wish everyone who is celebrating on Thursday a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank you so much April for featuring my cranberry muffins. They are a delicious breakfast or afternoon tea treat. Thanks for hosting a great party.
I was so taken with your muffins, Joanne! I hope to try them soon 🙂
I couldn’t help but laugh over the cranberry features…I’m sitting here drinking cranberry juice w/ ginger ale!
Thank you for the party, April!
We must be on the same wavelength, Michelle 🙂 Thank you for visiting!
I had the good fortune to visit San Francisco right after I graduated from high school. I still remember our trip out to CA. I’d love to go back.
It really is a wonderful place, Barb! Every time I go I love it more! I hope you get back soon 🙂
Thank you for the party. Glad you enjoyed SF so much. I haven’t been there since 1994. I am shopping today for Thanksgiving because we are expecting a snow storm in NY on Wednesday… crazy.
Thank you, Diane! I hope the snow isn’t as bad as they say it’s going to be. I heard on the news you were expecting snow on the East Coast and just thought – not again!! Whatever the weather, I wish you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving 🙂
I was in San Francisco too! My first time and I loved it!
What a coincidence, Pam! I’m so glad you enjoyed your visit to San Francisco 🙂
April, I’m not a great fan of cities but I DO like San Francisco!
It really is one of those cities that just works its way into your heart 🙂 Thank you so much for visiting, Jean!
