Hello September! Welcome to The Hearth and Soul Link Party. I love this time of the year, full of promise and fresh starts!
At the Hearth and Soul Link Party, you can share blog posts old and new, about anything that feeds the soul. This includes – but is not limited to – family, home, recipes, decorating, crafts, DIY, travel, organisation, book reviews, the arts and self improvement.
What’s New On The Blog?
It’s all about fall comfort food with a delicious vegetarian casserole and an easy quick bread recipe.
My Spinach Florentine Pasta Casserole is an easy, throw together weeknight dish the whole family will love. It’s a great way to sneak spinach into your kids, because even people who don’t like spinach will love it. I know this because I really don’t like spinach, but I love this!
Don’t miss my easy recipe for Apricot Pecan Quick Bread! The work of moments (the hardest part is waiting for it to finish baking!), this loaf is just full of lovely fall flavours and spice.
Plus, I’m sharing a peek into one of this summer’s hottest fashion events!
Christian Dior Designer of Dreams at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum was so popular, they extended its run until 1 September. The exhibition is now closed, but you can take a virtual visit with me. Don’t miss out!
Thank you so much for visiting, sharing and for your support of the Hearth and Soul Community!

I keep hearing people talk about that museum. I want to go! laurensparks.net
April Harris says
The V&A is very cool, Lauren, and is in fact the largest museum of applied art and design in the world. It was established in the Victorian era to bring art and culture to all classes of people (the class system in England was very big then) and was one of the first of its kind. I hope you can visit one day – although it definitely takes more than a day to see everything 😉
