May has well and truly arrived! This week it’s all about ideas and inspiration to help you make the most of spring at The Hearth and Soul Link Party. I’m so glad you are here!
Blog posts about anything that feeds the soul are welcome. This includes family, home, recipes, decorating, crafts, DIY, travel, organisation, book reviews, the arts, self improvement and more!
It has been such a busy time here! I have lots to share with you, but I’m struggling to find the time to work on the blog as much as I used to. While I’m grateful there’s so much great stuff going on, but I could definitely use a few more hours in the day!
Looking for a quick bread recipe that is better for you?
With just a half cup of sugar and heart-healthy bran, this Old-Fashioned Banana Nut Bread absolutely fits the bill. The sweetness of the bananas means you don’t miss the sugar and with lots of fiber and nutrition, it’s the perfect treat to fit into your healthy eating plan.
We are off on our travels again soon, and I’m hoping to have time for a visit to this lovely city.
We stay about an hour away, but if I get a chance to visit I will definitely be taking part in some of My Favourite Things to Do in San Francisco.

Spring is definitely in the air, at last. We waited long enough for it to show. Being busy usually keeps me out of the trouble but I agree with you, we need more hours in a day. Thanks for hosting, dear April, and have a wonderful and safe trip! That’s my favorite kind of busy 😀
I’m so glad spring has finally arrived where you are, Jas! Thank you so much for your kind wishes. I hope you have a lovely week, my friend 🙂
I love your beautiful tea cup in the bread picture. I’m thinking about getting all mine out for a good clean up and a chance to use them this evening with a group of ladies coming to my house this evening.
Thank you so much, Michele. I’m so glad I’ve encouraged you to get out your tea cups and use them 🙂 My late Mom always used to encourage me to use the good china and glass, wear the special jewellery and generally enjoy things. I keep having to remind myself that today is a special occasion, no matter what day it is 🙂
Thanks for hosting April!
My pleasure, Leigh. Thank you so much for visiting and sharing! Hope your week is going well 🙂
