At The Hearth and Soul Link Party, posts about anything that feeds your soul are welcome – from family, home, decorating, crafts and DIY to travel, organisation, book reviews, the arts and self improvement. And of course, food from the hearth to feed your soul is a real favourite here too!

I’m very excited this week as I’ve begun sharing the healthy living tips that helped me on my journey not only to my goal weight, but also to becoming fitter and stronger than I have ever been before. My first post went live yesterday!
Don’t miss the 5 Easy Healthy Eating Tips That Helped Me to Lose Over 30 Pounds.
Watch this space for more – including exercise hints and tips, the mental side of losing weight, how to keep the weight off, healthy eating recipes, snack ideas and more.
And don’t worry, there will still be lots of cake and treats.
I’m never going to stop creating and sharing yummy, indulgent recipes.
It’s all about balance.
And in the spirit of balance, here’s a tasty breakfast treat that is good for you too! It’s another one of my Mother’s Day Ideas – a great breakfast in bed or addition to your brunch menu.
My Overnight Baked Oatmeal with Rhubarb and Almonds is a delicious make ahead treat even those who don’t like porridge (like me!) will love. It’s gluten-free, refined sugar-free, and can be made dairy-free as well.
Mother’s Day Ideas Features

10 Mother’s Day Brunch Recipes from Marilyn at Marilyn’s Treats
Six Simple Mother’s Day Desserts from Patty at Cooking On A Budget
Remembering My Mother & Mother’s Day Printable from Carol at Comfort Spring Station
Thank you to everyone who visited and shared last week!
