The Hearth and Soul Link Party where we welcome posts about anything to feed the soul

Greetings! Welcome to this week’s Hearth and Soul Link Party where this week I’m featuring deliciously seasonal peach recipes. I don’t normally concentrate solely on recipes here at the party anymore, but peaches are a real favourite of mine so I hope you all won’t mind just this once!

How are things going in your part of the world?

We are enjoying a very warm end to summer here in the UK, but there are some lovely signs of fall approaching. After a gorgeously warm summer, our leaves are beginning to turn much more vibrant colours than they normally do. The grain is a beautiful shade of gold in the fields not far from our home, and it’s definitely looking like harvest time. As the long weekend of the summer approaches, I’m finally looking forward to fall.

One Thing At A Time - how to improve your focus, feel better and get more done

September is definitely the New January for me, and I’m resolved to get much more on top of things here at AprilJHarris.com. It’s been a busy summer, and I haven’t sent out a newsletter in ages. In one of my last missives, I asked for suggestions for the things you’d like to see in a monthly newsletter, and I’ve taken many of your ideas on board.

So, if you are a subscriber, thank you so much for your support. Please do watch your inboxes over the next week or so.

If you haven’t subscribed already, please may I ask you to consider it? It really helps me in terms of my online presence and kudos with publishers. I promise to never bombard you with emails. As you can tell from the paragraph above, once a month is about all I can manage anyway!

I love Afternoon Tea any time of year, but it’s an especially nice way to spend a fall afternoon.

There are a lifetime's worth of great places to have afternoon tea in London, each with their own particular charm. Here are just some of my favourites, not to be missed on your next visit to London.

I’ve recently updated my post on my favourite places to enjoy afternoon tea in London (so far!) – so do check it out for new places to go, and more photographs!

I also shared one of my favourite family salad recipes.

Creamy and luscious with just a hint of tang, Grandma's homemade coleslaw has been a family favourite for years. Once you taste her easy recipe you will want to make it part of your family's traditions too!

I make Grandma’s Coleslaw all year round, and it’s especially nice with red cabbage in late summer and autumn.

Thank you so much to everyone who visited and shared last week. This week I’m featuring seasonal peach recipes from our Hearth and Soul Community.

Featured Peach Recipes

There's Peach Recipes and More at this week's Hearth and Soul Link Party where we welcome blog posts about anything that feeds the soul

Featured posts (from top left, clockwise):-

I’m not sure which of these 10 Delicious Peach Recipes from Michele at Queen Bee Baker to try first!

This recipe for Old Fashioned Peach Bars from Miz Helen at Miz Helen’s Country Cottage has been in her family for generations, and it sounds so good.

No Bake Peach Yum Yum from Tracey at The Kitchen is My Playground also has a lovely family story behind it. It definitely looks like something that would make me say yum yum!

This Peach Leaf Ice Cream from Lina at Sew Historically is dairy and egg free. I was fascinated by her use of peach leaves, but do be sure to read the post and recipe carefully!

You can’t beat this Super Easy Peach Cobbler with Just 4 Ingredients from Jessica and Nellie at Butter with a Side of Bread for last minute entertaining. You may even have all the ingredients on hand already!

The Hearth and Soul Link Party

Beyond keeping it family friendly, this is a no rules party.

Blog posts old and new, about anything that feeds the soul, are welcome at The Hearth and Soul Link Party. This includes – but is not limited to – family, home, recipes, decorating, crafts, DIY, travel, organisation, book reviews, the arts and self improvement.

I’m so grateful if you share the party on social media or provide a link back to AprilJHarris.com. There are buttons at the top and bottom of this blog post to make sharing easy.

Sharing your posts here means you consent to me featuring your posts and photos on my blog and social media. As you would expect, all shares include a link back to your blog.

Please keep the party going by visiting some of the other posts, and connecting with other bloggers. I’m so happy and grateful for the community we have created here at Hearth and Soul – thank you all!

Wishing you lots of fun in the week ahead!

I’m all for tea in London! And your grandma’s coleslaw looks easy enough AND delicious. 🙂 I bet many will love all the peach recipes!

This week I went with a banana theme–sharing my Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies (still a favorite way to use those “baking bananas”) and delectable Maple Pecan Banana Muffins from my Muffin Madness event.

    Thanks,
    Shirley

My newsletter is just an RSS file. I keep thinking that I should try to make more out of it, but there are only so many hours in the day!

I know what you mean, Pam. I had a newslettter proforma designed for me a few years ago. It was sort of fill in the blanks, but it ended up being way more complex that I thought to accomplish that! Now I’ve changed my branding I’ve just been winging it. Hopefully it will all come together 🙂

Oh that sounds lovely, Jennifer! I’m still struggling to get good peaches here in the south of England, but I’ve had a few really good ones that I have thoroughly enjoyed!
