Hello and welcome! At the Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party we welcome all family friendly posts whether they be about home, family, travel, self improvement, crafts or DIY. And of course we love recipes for food from the hearth to feed your soul! Remember the party is open from now until Saturday, both old and new posts are welcome, and you can share up to three posts every week. This week I’m featuring versatile and tasty rice recipes.
I’d love your help achieving my goal of 100 posts shared with the hop every week by September? Please share the hop with your friends. I really appreciate all of last weeks tweets and shares, thank you!
I’m on holiday in Canada with my husband at the moment, catching up with family and friends and taking some time out for a little rest and relaxation. This week I shared a post about our holiday to one of our other favourite holiday destinations.
There are so many Things to See and Do in Bermuda!
I also shared How To Be A More Effective Blogger, about my experience on the wonderful Strategic Blogging Course. Sign ups close midnight August 12th and there’s a discount code so do have a look at the post straight away if you are interested!
I also shared some of My Best Muffin Recipes, perfect for summer brunches and back to school breakfasts.
This week I’m featuring rice recipes (from left clockwise):-
Zucchini Kale Fried Rice from Sumptuous Spoonfuls
Mushroom Rice and Roni from Cooking On A Budget

You are the ultimate world traveler, April! We absolutely adore Bermuda and are overdue for another trip there. Must go check out your post. 😉
Your timing is good on sharing a rice pudding post as tomorrow is rice pudding day here. 🙂 This week I’ve linked up an assortment of posts–peach pies (it’s definitely peach time here), salmon cakes (stove-top recipes are ideal right now), and my giveaway of Alea’s Prep-Ahead Meals cookbook with her terrific skillet scalloped potatoes with ham and peas that I know you shared before. That’s another great recipe for this time of year and it’s a terrific cookbook overall, of course.
Enjoy your latest vacation! Thanks so much for hosting. 🙂
Shirley
