Hello and welcome to Hearth and Soul, where this week we are stirring things up in the kitchen as well as in how we traditionally celebrate the holidays!
The Hearth and Soul Link Party welcomes blog posts about anything that feeds the soul. Things that feed the soul may include (but are not limited to) recipes, decorating, crafts, family, home, DIY, organization, travel, book reviews, the arts and self improvement.
NB. Please only share blog posts. I’m sorry, but links to Facebook posts etc will be deleted.
We are all having to make adjustments to our holiday celebrations this year. I’m really taken by the creativity and ingenuity people are showing in how they celebrate, making the most of a holiday season that is challenging to say the least.
What’s Been Happening?
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas here, and I’ve been working on stirring things up with lots of recipes and content for the blog for Christmas and beyond. The latest new recipe is an easy main course with an ingredient that may surprise you.
Maple Glazed Chicken with Roast Root Vegetables has been a favourite in our home for years. It’s easy enough for a weeknight but special enough for entertaining. The piquant maple syrup spiked sauce gives it a really unique flavour twist.
I’ve also been stirring things up with some yummy desserts.
This no-fail Chocolate Banana Bundt Cake is perfect for any occasion and always moist and delicious. You can make it as a layer cake or cupcakes if you prefer, and it also freezes well. You probably have all the ingredients you need to make it on hand right now.
Thank you all for visiting and sharing your inspiring content.
