A warm welcome to The Hearth and Soul Hop, a blog hop for recipes using healthy ingredients, family and comfort food recipes, articles about healthy living, real, local and sustainable food, foraging, herbal remedies, organics and gardening. As much as possible, recipes should be homemade from scratch.
I apologise for the lack of new posts on The 21st Century Housewife recently. There seems to be so much going on at the moment. We just returned from California yesterday and in only five days time we are heading to Israel. Those five days are going to be pretty full ones. I’ve got so much to catch up on and we’ll be up in London for part of the time celebrating my birthday. London is my favourite city in the whole world and I’m so grateful to be able to spend my special day there. We’ll be visiting some of my favourite shops, sights and restaurants.
I’m also working on some exciting new developments for The 21st Century Housewife website. It’s too early to share any details but there are some very cool things coming up in the (hopefully) not too distant future!
Anyway, there were some lovely recipes and posts shared last week. Today I’m featuring some tasty salad and dressing recipes that are perfect for summer!
South of the Border Salad from Foppema’s Farm
Arugula, Fennel and Green Lentil Salad from Simple Living and Eating
Kitchen Sink Salad from Creating Silver Linings
Simple Egg Salad from The Domestic Life Stylist
Rustic French Dressing from The Tumbleweed Contessa
Thousand Island Dressing from Loving My Domestic Life
Craving yet more salad? Check out this post featuring some of my favourites.
