The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party is the link party for all things home and family – family and comfort food recipes, healthy and sustainable living posts, homemaking, gardening, kids, crafts and DIY. We love thought provoking, encouraging and inspiring posts too. Welcome!
I hope you have had a wonderful week and weekend! Last week was a busy one for me. I spent a lot the week in London and was lucky enough to stay at the iconic Savoy Hotel once again. I can’t wait to share this beautiful hotel with you in an upcoming post!
I enjoyed meeting author Gretchen Rubin last Tuesday evening. Gretchen gave a fascinating talk about the nature of habits at The Conde Nast Fashion Institute in London in support of her new book ‘Better Than Before‘. If you have a habit you’d like to create in your life or one you’d like to break, this is the book for you. I’m about half way through my copy of Better Than Before at the moment and I’m finding it hard to put down!
Wednesday I attended a new product launch (more details to come!) and on Thursday I was at a Madeleine Masterclass hosted by Bonne Maman.
French pâtissiere and celebrity chef, Eric Lanlard, demonstrated how to make a gorgeous Summer Fruits and Madeleine Charlotte Cake. I’ll be sharing the recipe – and some of Eric’s top baking tips – with you later this week!
Also last week, I shared a post about the wonderful Nuffield Place.
This beautiful property has remained virtually unchanged since the 1930’s so you can almost step back in time when you visit!
Thank you so much to everyone who shared recipes and posts last week! Today I’m featuring two gluten free recipes made with cauliflower as well as a helpful gardening post.
Cauliflower Bread Slices from Winelady Cooks
Cauliflower Quinoa Patties from This Fox Kitchen
Plant Kale in Your Garden by Homemade Food Junkie
