The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party
The Hearth and Soul Hop Link Party is  the link party for all things home and family – family and comfort food recipes, healthy and sustainable living posts, homemaking, gardening, kids, crafts and DIY. We love thought-provoking, encouraging and inspiring posts too. Welcome!

Last week and over the weekend I celebrated a ‘significant’ birthday. We celebrated at my favourite local restaurant Nino’s Trattoria Italiana on Thursday.

On my actual birthday on Friday my husband, son and I went to London to continue the celebrations. We stayed at the beautiful Corinthia Hotel (review post coming soon!) and enjoyed afternoon tea in their gorgeous lobby lounge.

The Hearth and Soul Hop

After a walk round London and a bit of a relax we headed out for a late supper at Le Caprice – the beautiful scallops below were just my starter!

Let’s just say, I’m definitely going to have to update my Top London Restaurants List!  I’m so grateful to my husband and son for making our London celebrations so much fun. Turning 50 has been a real pleasure – I can honestly say it really does feel like the new 30!

Thank you so much to everyone who visited and shared posts with us last week. Today I’m featuring 3 posts (to pin these posts please follow the links to the actual post).

The Hearth and Soul Hop Mint, Zucchini & Sun-Dried Tomato Bread from Joanne at What’s on the List?

Thank you, Sammi! I really did enjoy the pastries – my favourite was the blueberry and violet cream cake – the one with the real flowers on top. Thank you for being a part of the Hearth and Soul hop.
