Welcome to the Hearth and Soul link party where this week I am featuring trips, treats and tidying up. Thank you for joining us!
Here at Hearth and Soul, we love recipes for food from the hearth to feed your soul, but we also welcome all family friendly posts, whether they be about home, family, travel, self improvement, crafts or DIY. Please share your posts in the linky at the bottom of this post.
I hope the New Year is going well for you all so far. We are only just getting back to ‘normal’ here after last week. My son and his girlfriend have birthdays just one day apart. We all went up to London for a mid-week ‘birthday weekend’ at The Ritz on Park Lane.
It was the first time my husband and I (top left) had stayed at The Ritz (bottom two photographs), and I do hope we will be able to visit again soon. It’s definitely one of my favourite London hotels, and I’ll be sharing more on the blog soon. We also enjoyed two lovely meals out – one at Le Caprice and the other at The Ivy. Want to join us at The Ivy? Join me for a virtual visit to see the amazing flaming Baked Alaska we all shared!

April, thank you for sharing your experience in London with us! Looks you you and your fabulous hubbie had a marvelous time! For this week’s Hearth and Soul Hop I am sharing Meal Planning Maven’s favorite “Pudge-Busting” recipes as we can all use some help ditching that pesky holiday “muffin top.” I also am sharing one of my favorite recipes from the collection, Rustic Turkey-Vegetable Marinara which is hearty and family-friendly. As always, many thanks to you and Swathi for hosting as well as for all your generous support!
