It’s time once again for the Hearth and Soul Link Party. Welcome! I can’t believe how quickly January seems to be flying by, or that I’m writing about Valentines Day Ideas already!
I’ve been on holiday with my husband, our son and our son’s girlfriend, and it has been wonderful. It was wonderful to spend time together and we all had so much fun, visiting the San Diego Zoo, exploring Hollywood, taking a deluxe behind the scenes tour at Warner Brothers and more.
You can probably guess where we are here! What makes me smile even more is that all four of us are fans of this show, despite the difference in our ages. It’s the third time I’ve sat on the Friends couch, but this is the best photo we’ve ever had!
We also ate at some fabulous restaurants, including my favourite LA restaurant so far, The Polo Lounge. It’s definitely a splurge, but every time we visit, it just gets better and better. It’s also a fabulous place to people watch – you may see a star or two! I didn’t want to disturb her, but I’m pretty sure we were sitting near to Barbara Eden from I Dream of Jeannie and Harper Valley PTA.
I did manage to blog a bit…Don’t miss these delicious Date Night Dinner Ideas and Recipes!
They are all perfect for Valentines Day Ideas or for any romantic evening.
If you are looking for dessert inspiration, I also shared these yummy ideas for finishing off your special meal, or just for a treat. They’d be fantastic at tea time too.

I’m counting down the days to my redesigned blog relaunch – It’s scheduled for Monday next week. I’m getting very excited (and a little nervous too!).
