An Easier Way to Make Simple Syrup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup 250 ml boiling water
  • 1 cup 200 grams granulated or caster sugar

Instructions

  • Bring the water to a boil and carefully pour it into a measuring jug.
  • Add the sugar and whisk together.
  • Continue whisking for 2 to 3 minutes or until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Pour the simple syrup into a clean jar with a lid.
  • Seal and allow to cool at room temperature.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 7 days.
