An Easier Way to Make Simple Syrup
- 1 cup 250 ml boiling water
- 1 cup 200 grams granulated or caster sugar
Bring the water to a boil and carefully pour it into a measuring jug.
Add the sugar and whisk together.
Continue whisking for 2 to 3 minutes or until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Pour the simple syrup into a clean jar with a lid.
Seal and allow to cool at room temperature.
Store in the fridge for up to 7 days.
