What’s New – The March Edition
My husband and I had another lovely weekend break in London. I am working on a blog post with more great places to visit – either from your armchair or in real life. In the meantime, don’t miss our Favourite London Restaurants.
Plans for my website redesign and relaunch in March/April are going full steam ahead. I’m so excited to share the new look with you! My team and I have also been planning photo and video shoots in the next few months – including the shoot for my cookbook proposal which is scheduled for May.
On the blog, I’ve been sharing some new travel posts, including one about Ely in Cambridgeshire, the beautiful, ancient cathedral city where my son and his partner live. I’ve also got the inside scoop on how to make the most of a visit Buckingham Palace.
Of course, as always, I have many delicious recipes on offer, including an old-fashioned recipe for Oatmeal Coconut Slice and Bake Cookies, a delicious Blood Orange Pound Cake and my Easy Vegetarian Quiche. Plus there’s 10 Ways to Use Roast Vegetables, including my easy, flexible recipe for both Mediterranean and root vegetables.
Thank you all for visiting and sharing your inspiring content!
March Edition Featured Posts
March Edition featured posts include (from top left, clockwise):-
Hearth and Soul is all about celebrating creativity and I’m feeling very inspired by Linda of Paper Seedlings. Visit her blog post Daily Creating September 2021 to see her beautiful bird drawings.
I have such a soft spot for vintage recipes, and this English Honey Loaf from Little Frugal Homestead is no exception. No wonder Melissa’s Dad loves it so much!
I don’t own a Cricut but I’m feeling very tempted! Love this cute Shenanigans and Malarkey St Patrick’s Day Shirt from Artsy-Fartsy Mama.
Although Nancy from Colors 4 Health shared this Easy Vegan Recipe Roundup for Valentine’s Day, they would be delicious all year round. Thank you to Nancy for including one of my recipes in the roundup too!

Thanks April for featuring my post, “Easy Vegan Valentine’s Day Recipe Roundup.” I’m thrilled and delighted. I love being a part of the Hearth and Soul Facebook group as well. I appreciate the opportunity to share my latest creations with you and your readers and get ideas and inspiration from the other members. Thanks a million on all counts. Nancy Andres @ Colors 4 Health.
It’s a pleasure, Nancy! Thank you so much for your kind words. I really appreciate your support.
It’s all exciting news for your blog April. I love that photo of you and Mr. Harris. Thanks for hosting the fun and I hope you have a good month.
Thank you so much, Julie. I hope you have a good month too.
I love that you’re always teaching us about your greater area, April! That bird drawing is lovely, I think the English Loaf needs a gluten-free version (sans raisins LOL), St. Patrick’s Day is made for shenanigans, and pasta salad is always appreciated (and easy to make GF). Spring is the time for all things new and exciting and that’s more needed this year than ever IMO.
I’ve linked up my roundup of gluten-free banana bread recipes (so many amazing choices there, no matter one’s preferences or dietary needs) and gluten-free pecan pie mini muffins, which are as wonderful as they sound. In fact, I need to jump off right now to make a batch as I have girlfriends coming over and that’s one of our dessert choices. YUM!
Thanks for hosting! Hope you have a wonderful week!
Shirley
